February 13, 2026 - Friday - Today we were in San Jacinto to see the annual quilt show put on by the Valley Quilters Guild. We've been coming for several years now since each year is different and there's always something that surprises us. The guild has been around since 1981 and there are currently about 90 members.
Since America is 250 years old this year, there is a big patriotic section.
This show is one of the best we've seen here.
After the show we headed over to Hemet to have lunch at Dattilo Ristoránte Italiano.
Judy had their "Baked Mostaccioli" with pasta, four cheeses and a meat sauce.
I had their "Penne Arrabbiate" with tomatoes, crushed chili and garlic.
Both selections were excellent!
