February 9, 2024 - Friday - Today we were in San Jacinto to see the annual quilt show put on by the Valley Quilters Guild.  We've been coming for several years now since each year is different and there's always something that surprises us.  The guild has been around since 1981 and there are currently about 90 members.  We drove down in our new ride.

When we arrived at 10:00 AM, it wasn't that crowded, but by 11:00 AM  it was packed.

The quilt below was all about cats, displayed as kaleidoscopic images.

This show is always a pleasure to see.

After the show we headed over to Hemet to have lunch at Dattilo Ristoránte Italiano.

Judy had their "Manicotti Dattilo' which is traditional manicotti, tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and stuffed with meat and cheese.

I had their "Pasta Con Pomodoro Fresco" which is spaghetti with tomatoes, basil, chili and garlic.

The food here is wonderful.
