July 11, 2023 - Tuesday - Today we were back in Fullerton, CA to see the latest exhibit at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center called "Are You Thinking What I'm Thinking?" Originally created for the Palos Verdes Art Center, this group show features SoCal artists. The artists created work unrelated to their current medium based upon a written phrase provided by the curators. The results are insightful, inspiring and humorous visuals, some accompanied by original lyrics and songs.
The title drawn by the artist above, from a baked fortune cookie, is "Swan Lake to Swanee River."

What fun, this group of artists were all winners by our accounts.
After the museum it was time for some pizza at our favorite, Fuoco Pizzeria Napoletana.
Our first choice was one specialty from the board, proscuitto and fig.
Our other choice was their "Vespa," with cup and cure pepperoni, mozzarella, goat cheese, garlic and their home made spicy honey. "Vespa" may be our new favorite here.
