March 18, 2026 - Wednesday - Today we were in Fullerton, CA to visit the Muckenthaler Cultural Center and their latest exhibit called "Tom Everhart’s Peanuts Collection." Tom Everhart holds a unique position in art history as the only fine artist personally authorized by Charles M. Schulz to reinterpret the iconic Peanuts characters in his distinctive style. What began as an unexpected encounter in 1980 evolved into a creative partnership that continues to captivate collectors worldwide.
Everhart named the piece below "Salmon Breath."
This one is cute with Lucy, Charlie Brown and Snoopy.
It's a heartwarming show and it's a lot of fun.
After the museum it was time for some pizza at our favorite, Fuoco Pizzeria Napoletana.
We had two pizzas, the first was their "Vespa" with cup and curl pepperoni, cheese and honey.
The second pizza was "Proscuitto and Pear," with mozzarella, walnuts and a balsamic reduction.
Their pizzas are probably the best we've had in this country.
