April 19, 2026 - Sunday - Today we were in Riverside, CA to visit the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. The church was built in 1887 and of its 900 families, almost 40 percent are Hispanic and about 35 percent, senior citizens.
It's a beautiful church with all of its first floor in wood and the stained glass dominating the second floor.
After the church, we had brunch at House of Eggs in Colton.
I had their "Santa Fe Scramble" with three scrambled eggs with Ortega chilies, mozzarella cheese, and finished with Pico de Gallo, salsa Verde and avocado slices.
Judy had their sausages and eggs, with a side of fruit.
It was a great adventure, close to home and no traffic! |
