May 21, 2025 - Wednesday - We were back in Palm Desert, CA to see the new paintings at the Skidmore Contemporary Art gallery. Lia Skidmore currently has a number of artists on display, all with a California theme. She has a very discerning eye on what comes into her gallery.
She is also showing some pottery by California Artware.
We loved the bubble gum machine.
After the gallery we had lunch at a Palm Desert favorite, Café des Beaux-Arts.
We both had a cup of their French onion soup.
Judy had their Chicken Curry Salad with Sliced Papaya.
I had their mussels with shallots and a cream sauce.
The art was beautiful and the food fabulous.
