June 24, 2026 - Wednesday - Today's adventure was to see what the Santa Ana Zoo was all about. If nothing else, it would be a good way to get some exercise walking around the grounds.
The grounds were lush and well maintained.
There are train rides and a Ferris wheel for the kids.
Of course there are many animals here, all rescues. We saw many primates, river otters, birds and camels.
We enjoyed it. We spent about an hour and a half here and we were both tired when we left.
Before the zoo we had brunch at Norm's.
We were both hungry and ordered larger meals than usual. I had their fried shrimp with a baked potato. A salad and soup was also served with it.
Judy also ordered big with a full turkey dinner and a salad and soup.
It was a good thing we had a chance to walk around the zoo after our meals.
