May 12, 2020 - Tuesday - We had a redwood tree on the corner of our property that had died. After a few weeks of city employee errors, including cutting down a crepe myrtle tree by mistake, a crew showed up today to remove the redwood. It was about 75 feet tall with a trunk diameter of about 42 inches. Only two city employees performed the job.
The guy in the bucket started at the bottom and worked his way up, trimming all of the limbs.
I was sitting on the porch, reading a book, and I missed it when he cut off the top.
In three hours, they came, they cut, they cleaned, and then they were gone. |
