June 29, 2025 - Sunday - Since Judy's back surgery on the 25th, we both have gotten a little cabin fever and her doctor has also recommended that she walk as part of her recovery. So, we headed out today to Ontario to see the latest exhibit at the Ontario Museum of History and Art, called the 13th Biennial Ontario Open Art Exhibition. This is a juried exhibition that features contemporary artists from across Southern California. The exhibition displays work from over 150 artists.
The ceramic piece below is called "Read."
It's a very nice exhibit with a lot of entrants to the competition.
Before the Museum, we had lunch in Chino at Casa Diaz. It was our first time here and we were very impressed with the food and the atmosphere.
Judy had some taquitos with a side of guacamole and Mexican cheese.
I had their chili relleno with a pasilla chili, which is spicier than the usual poblano chili. It was hand stuffed with queso fresco, jack cheese, and it had a homemade green sauce.
Judy did well with her walker, but she was tired out by the end of the day. |
