October 28, 2021 - Thursday - Today we were in Ontario, CA to visit the Ontario Museum of History and Art. The museum preserves, interprets and celebrates the history and cultural heritage of Ontario and the surrounding area. Their latest exhibit is called Día de los Muertos: Mujeres Valientes. The exhibition title translates to “Day of the Dead: Brave Women” and is centered around women’s strength and courage. This year’s artists displayed artwork influenced by the women who have inspired their lives.
It's a wonderful exhibit, so alive and so colorful, we're glad to have seen it.
Before the museum we tried a new Italian restaurant called Cannataro's in nearby Chino. It was a lucky choice for us since today is our 28th wedding anniversary and their playlist included a lot of Sinatra and Dean Martin singing old songs. It was very romantic.
I had their "Linguini & Clam Sauce" that was delicious.
Judy had their "Manicotti Florentine" with pasta tubes filled with fresh spinach, Ricotta and Romano cheese. The sauce was excellent.
For our anniversary dessert, it was a moist New York cheesecake.
It was a great day! |
