July 2, 2025 - Wednesday - Today we were in Long Beach, CA to visit the Museum of Latin American Art. MOLAA is the only museum in the United States dedicated to modern and contemporary Latin American and Latino art. Between 1913 and 1918 the site that the Museum now occupies was home to the Balboa Amusement Producing Company, then the world’s most productive and innovative silent film studio.

There were four exhibits on display today that were interesting and colorful. However, we didn't understand them at all. There were several installations and the plight of the migrants seem to be a universal theme, but beyond that, we just didn't get it.

We did like the "Orange House."

Before the museum we had lunch at Roscoe's House of Chicken 'n Waffles. It was old and we found it to be a very upscale Roscoe's.

We both had the same thing, one waffle and one fried chicken breast.

It's a delicious combination and we loved it.
