April 22, 2024 - Monday - I saw an article in the paper on Saturday which prompted our adventure today. Our destination was Loma Linda City Hall. An exhibit of paintings and photography by Loma Linda Art Association members Emily Gascon and Cris Hinsley are on display here. Both work in two mediums, painting and photography.
We saw Cris Hinsley's work first, it was mainly paintings.
The glare in this hallway was impossible to work around.
On the opposite wall were photographs taken by Emily Gascon.
It is a nice exhibit and we were happy to have heard about it. We had planned to go to Taylor's for lunch since we haven't been in years. It's an old dive bar that serves food. However, we found out upon our arrival that the bar opens at 10:00 AM, but the grill doesn't open until 11:30 AM, so that killed it for us. We ended up at Denny's instead. The food was good, but not very photogenic.
