October 23,2025 - Thursday - Today we were back to the Cal Poly campus in Pomona, CA to visit the W. Keith & Janet Kellogg University Art Gallery.  Their current exhibit is called "Color & Quirk."  This exhibition features ten artists that are either well-established mid-career or successfully emerging artists, each offering their own interpretation of how color behaves, interacts and engages.

These fascinated me.  They're in the shape of a pillow and are made of mirrors and acrylic paint.

These were also very interesting, painted canvas with painted pieces of broken egg shells.

The neon pieces all pulsated.

These were strips of colored cloth that were woven together.

Judy liked these colored strings hanging down.

This large installation dominated the room.

It is fantastic, we really enjoyed ourselves today.

Before the gallery we had lunch at our Pomona favorite, VITA.

Judy had a lobster bisque for her appetizer.

My appetizer was beet salad.

We both had the same entrée, "Spicy Orzo Risotto" with hot Italian sausage, broccilini, and creamy orzo.

It was a little too hot for Judy, but I loved it.
