September 12, 2024 - Thursday - Today we were in Orange, CA to visit the Hilbert Museum of California Art. Their latest exhibit is the "California Art Club’s 113th Annual Gold Medal Exhibition." The CAC is one of the oldest, largest, and most active professional arts organizations in the world.
As usual, it is a fabulous show, and bigger than ever.
Before the exhibit, we stopped for lunch at the Zinc Cafe, also located in Orange.
Judy has their "California Turkey" which is roasted turkey, applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, avocado on toasted sourdough.
I had their "Pepperoni Red Pepper Pizza" with pepperoni, roasted red peppers, mozzarella and parmesan cheese, and tomato sauce.
