April 9, 2026 - Thursday - Today we were back in Glendale, CA to visit our favorite museum in a cemetery, the Forest Lawn Museum. Their latest exhibit is called "Convergence: Contemporary Artists of Armenian Descent." “Convergence” features the work of more than twenty artists.
The exhibit was disappointing, most of the works we either didn't understand or like. However, the scenery driving up to the museum is always worth it.
After the museum we headed over to La Bella Pinseria Romana for lunch. Unfortunately, it wasn't open since the wait staff didn't show up. We found a place that looked interesting called Katsu Bar, so we gave it a try. The cuisine is Japanese and Korean.
We both had the same dish, "Chicken Curry Udon with Katsu." It's Udon noodles in curry broth topped with greens. The brown patty is a pounded chicken breast, coated with Panko and sliced for easy eating. It was pretty good, although Judy thought the curry was a little weak.
