July 31, 2025 - Thursday - Today we visited the Edward-Dean Museum & Gardens in nearby Cherry Valley, CA. Their latest exhibit is called "Beauty and the Beast: California Wildflowers and Climate Change." The exhibit has images of wildflowers from across the state, while seeing how climate change is reshaping the timing and patterns of their natural growth.
Their rose garden is spectacular.
Luckily, the photographs were of California's beautiful wildflowers. The narrative explained the more infrequent "super blooms" across the state.
It's a beautiful exhibit.
Before the museum we had brunch at Clarkie's Diner in Calimesa, a short drive away.
Judy had French toast and bacon.
I had two slices of French toast with two eggs.
