May 20, 2026 - Wednesday - Today we drove over to the city of Brea, CA to visit the Brea Gallery. Their current exhibition is called "41st Annual Made in California Juried Exhibition." We've been to several of these exhibitions before, so who knows what we'll see here today.
It is colorful and vibrant.
Traditional oil paintings were few and far between. Most of the works were fabrics or mixed media compositions. We enjoyed it although the one below fooled Judy when we first saw it, she thought it was a real person reaching up the wall.
Before the gallery we had lunch at The Hat.
Judy didn't have her usual BBQ Roast Beef sandwich, but she had a cheeseburger instead.
I had my usual "Pastrami Dipped" sandwich with mustard and pickles.
It was an enjoyable day.
