September 30, 2010 - Today we attended the special exhibit at the San Bernardino County Museum entitled: "Generations of Symbols, the Morongo Band of Mission Indians Basket Collection." Over 100 baskets are displayed in the exhibit. The baskets reflect several southern California basketry traditions, including Cahuilla, Cupeño, Serrano, Luiseño, and Diegueño.
